Patients proven to be suffering from malnutrition (i.e. with weight loss of 5% or more compared to their initial weight) or at risk of malnutrition as a result of a digestive or non-digestive disorder e.g. cancers or neurological disorders causing muscle damage and swallowing difficulties, chronic infectious diseases, sequelae to cardiac surgery, dermatological infections, chronic respiratory and renal failure, delayed growth and hereditary metabolic abnormalities in children. |
