In France, most of nutritional oral supplements can be refunded under specific conditions (see Arreté du 23/03/04 - JO du 01/04/04). This is may be the case in your country. For more information, ask the Health Authorities of your country. In France, the products are reimbursed for patients suffering from the following :

dystrophic or dermolytic epidermolysis bullosa cystic fibrosis HIV with malnutrition leading to weight loss equal to, or greater than, 5% of the patient’s normal weight tumours malignant haemoglobinopathy leading to weight loss equal to, or greater than, 5% of the patient’s normal weight neuromuscular diseases leading to weight loss equal to, or greater than, 5% of the patient’s normal weight or children whose weight and height does not increase for a period of 6 months.
